Julian Sackey, of Roselle, New Jersey, is currently preparing applications for an emergency medicine residency. While at Icahn Mount Sinai, he has been actively involved with the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership’s laboratory and he volunteers with a local food pantry. Julian was previously part of the Harm Reduction Interest Group. He counts all of these experiences, along with his clinical rotations, among the highlights of his time at Icahn Mount Sinai. Prior to medical school, Julian graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in neuroscience.
“Because of your contribution, I'm able to focus on developing my clinical skills and fully exploring my interests without the very real burden of financial stress. Thank you; I hope you also receive the same peace of mind you have allowed me.”
