|Register for Doximity|
Doximity.com is the largest online social network in the country for health professionals. If you have not yet registered with Doximity.com, please follow the steps below to create an account. This will allow you to vote in U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” and “Best Children's Hospitals” rankings, as well as residency rankings.
*For 2017 voting: All physicians who are board certified in one of the 16 adult or 10 pediatric specialties ranked by U.S. News, and who registered for a Doximity account prior to December 4, 2016, will be eligible to vote for the 2017 rankings in their specialty. Eligible physicians will receive a link to the ballot in their email and can access the survey through Doximity.com or the Doximity app for iPhone or Android.
Physicians who did not register prior to this date may still be eligible to receive a paper ballot. Ballots are mailed to a randomly selected sample of physicians. Also, if you are not yet registered with Doximity, we encourage you to do so in order to be eligible to vote in the future (see the instructions below).
We encourage you to support the increased rankings of individual Mount Sinai hospitals. It is important that each hospital in the Mount Sinai Health System is ranked separately, so entries need to be very specific with full, proper names. Enter “Mount Sinai St. Luke’s,” for instance, instead of simply “Mount Sinai,” or the entry might default to The Mount Sinai Hospital. This is particularly important when you are asked to list up to five U.S. hospitals that provide the best inpatient care for challenging medical or surgical conditions in your specialty.
Voting for both the Best Hospitals and Best Children’s Hospitals rankings will take place via paper ballots starting Wednesday, January 4, 2017, with Doximity online voting beginning in February through Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Thank you for your continued commitment to advancing the outstanding patient care of the Mount Sinai Health System and the innovative education provided by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
