Dr. Alice Iosifescu Gets Married!

Alice Iosifescu and Ethan Benjamin Abraham will be married Sunday at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y. Rabbi David W. Nelson is to officiate.

The bride, 26, will take her husband’s name. She is an intern at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She graduated from Columbia and received a medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan.She is the daughter of Dr. Caterina Iosifescu of Bellerose, Queens, a dentist in private practice.

The bridegroom, 28, is an associate at Ellington Management Group, a hedge fund in Old Greenwich, Conn., where he specializes in convertible bonds. He graduated cum laude from Harvard.

He is the son of Jane Abraham and Andrew E. Abraham of Teaneck, N.J. The bridegroom’s mother works at UJA-Federation of New York, where she directs reviews of agencies that receive money from the organization. His father is of counsel to Appellate Advocates, a nonprofit law firm in Manhattan. He retired from the Legal Aid Society of New York.
