Stacey A. Conklin, MS, MSN, RN, Appointed VP, Patient Care Services & Interim Chief Nursing Officer

We are pleased to share the appointment of Stacey A. Conklin, MS, MSN, RN, NE-BC, to the position of Vice President for Patient Care Services and Interim Chief Nursing Officer at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai (NYEE) effective May 1, 2017. Ms. Conklin will be responsible for overseeing clinical and administrative operations for Patient Care Services and Nursing at NYEE. In addition, she will lead the Infirmary’s renewal application for the Magnet Recognition Program through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

 

Since February 2017, Ms. Conklin has served as Senior Director of Patient Care Services at NYEE.  Previously, she served as Director of Patient Care Services for Surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and Senior Director of Patient Care Services at Mount Sinai Downtown-Union Square.  Each position has highlighted her focus on improving clinical operations to ensure optimal practice environments and patient outcomes.  Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Ms. Conklin served as Site Chief Information Officer at North Shore University Hospital (Northwell Health System).

 

Ms. Conklin received a MS in Health Care Delivery from Dartmouth College and a MS in Nursing from Walden University. She is board certified by the ANCC in Nursing Informatics and as a Nurse Executive.
