Hertzberg Palliative Care Institute Fall 2015 Newsletter
Dear friends and colleagues,
The Hertzberg Palliative Care Institute has had a very exciting year thanks to your work and support! Our team has had major accomplishments individually – through the achievement of highly prestigious awards – and as a whole – by expanding palliative care nationwide through the Patty and Jay Baker National Palliative Care Center. I invite you to learn more about these and other feats in ourFall 2015 Newsletter!
I am also excited to introduce the second issue of The Loom, which is an amazing collection of artwork and creative writing from patients, families, caregivers and staff of the Palliative Care Unit. Thanks to the generosity of Joseph Hertzberg and John and Margaret Ruttenberg, we are thrilled to now have a full-time Palliative Care Creative Arts Therapist.
We, at the Hertzberg Institute, wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season. I look forward to sharing more news in the Spring!
