As an alum, you are part of a 15,000-person strong alumni community that continues to make its mark throughout the country and around the world, helping to enhance the reputation of Mount Sinai. You are witnessing an exceptional time in our history as we delve into a culture of innovation and push the boundaries of knowledge, inspiring our students, trainees, faculty, and staff to question, seek, and discover.
Below are just some examples of our recent accomplishments:
- The magnificent new 550,000-square-foot Leon and Norma Hess Center for Science and Medicine places scientists and physicians in an environment that allows for cross-fertilization of ideas, stimulating progress and encouraging creativity and entrepreneurship.
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai ranks #17 among U.S. medical schools for National Institutes of Health funding.
The new Arnhold Global Health Institute provides additional venues for students and their mentors to improve the health and protect the human rights of people around the world through research, education, and patient care initiatives.
These examples are part of everyday life at Mount Sinai. We want our alumni to feel pride in the School of Medicine and look forward to sharing our new accomplishments with you.
